Anderson’s work behind the scenes has led to playing opportunities for hundreds, if not thousands, of adult soccer players in Frederick County. He is primarily known for his involvement in the Mason-Dixon Soccer League, where he has served since 1994 as registrar and organizer of the adult league than spans three states.

He was instrumental in getting the Mason-Dixon Soccer League affiliated with the Maryland State Soccer Association, US Adult Soccer Association and US Soccer Federation. In addition, he is a US Soccer Federation-certified official and has captained and/or organized at least one team every session since the Frederick Indoor Sports Center facility opened. He partnered with the Frederick Women’s Soccer leadership to start coed leagues at Frederick Indoor.
