Brian Parker

The longtime Frederick resident has built a stellar coaching resume, highlighted by his current tenure at his alma mater Frostburg State, where he coaches the women’s soccer team. Parker has a .720 career winning percentage that includes eight conference titles and 12 NCAA/ECAC tournament appearances. The three-time conference coach of the year has coached 85 all-conference players and eight conference players of the year. Even with his commitments to Frostburg, this former Urbana High School girls soccer coach has found a way to stay active locally.

He was a founder of Frederick United and served as director from 1992-2002 and recently rejoined the FC Frederick staff. Parker’s coaching career started at West Virginia University, where he was an assistant coach from 1993-1995. He was tasked to launch the Urbana program in 1995 and compiled a 62-36-6 record with two regional titles. He also has coached Maryland and West Virginia ODP teams, andhas been a MSYSA and NSCAA coaching instructor.
