Bradley Grimes

Grimes started for Walkersville as a freshman in 1972 and proceeded to play every match for the Lions during his four-year varsity career. He scored the winning goal for Walkersville in a 2-1 state title win over Pocomoke in 1972. He helped Walkersville to a state runner-up finish in 1975. He was a three-time All-County and All-MVAL first-team selection. He was named to the All-Region XX first team during his one season with Frederick Community College.

He played for Walkersville in the Mason-Dixon Soccer League from 1975 until 1998, scoring 203 goals with 161 assists. He led Walkersville’s Mason-Dixon team to four league championships and three playoff titles. He started playing indoor soccer in the 1980s and remains active today with Bushwallers. He also has coached boys soccer at Walkersville for 14 years.
