Chris Doyle

After a storied high school and college soccer career, Doyle became what is believed to be the first Frederick County male native drafted into a U.S. professional soccer league. Doyle starred at Brunswick, where he was a three-time all-state player and two-time Frederick News-Post Player of the Year. He’s Brunswick’s all-time leading scorer with 113 point (38 goals, 27 assists).

He led Brunswick to a state title in 1990, and the program went 39-13-2 during his four years as a varsity starter. He was a four-year starter at Loyola College, and made the all-conference team each year and was named Player of the Year in 1995. He was drafted by the A-League Rochester Rhinos.
