Sheldon Shealer

Sheldon Shealer is the most recognized youth soccer reporter in the U.S. The two-time soccer national feature writing award winner created and runs the FAB 50 national rankings. He has covered soccer for The Washington Post, FOX Sports, ESPN and USA Today, among other media outlets, and was tasked with selecting the Parade All-America teams for more than a decade.

Shealer is the national high school soccer editor for Top Drawer Soccer, overseeing the national verbal commitment list and naming the TDS High School All-America Teams. In 2006, he created the Nike Premier 50 women’s soccer event, for the nation’s top prospects. Shealer helps in the selection of the High School All-America Game participants. Beyond youth soccer, he has covered three World Cups and was co-editor of the Olympic Soccer daily newsletter for the 1996 Games.
