One of Middletown’s all-time greats carried his high school success to college and beyond. Miller was inducted into the UMBC Athletic Hall of Fame following a college career that included first-team All-East Coast Conference honors and a Big South South regular season title as UMBC was transitioning through NCAA Division I leagues. He was selected as UMBC’s Outstanding Senior Athlete in 1993.
Miller netted 13 goals in 1991 as UMBC went 15-5-1. In 1992, his senior season, he switched to sweeper and UMBC won the conference title. He was the third player in UMBC history to reach the 30-career goal plateau. He later played for the Delaware Wizards in USISL. Miller helped Middletown to state runner-up finishes in 1987 and 1988.
