Stephanie Eyler McKay

McKay was one of Frederick County’s most prolific high school scorers in the 2000s, scoring 56 goals and adding 24 assists during a four-year varsity career at Catoctin that included all-MVAL honors each season.

At Stevenson University, she became the program’s first college All-American, a feat accomplished in 2011. She finished her career with school records in games played (85), career goals (63), and career game-winning goals (15). She was an all-conference performer all four years in college, which included Capital Athletic Conference Rookie of the Year in 2008 and Player of the Year in 2009.

She spent time in the WPSL with the Maryland Pride while in college and with Penn Legacy Lancaster Inferno following college. In the summer of 2013, McKay played in Sweden’s Division 1 and scored a goal in her debut match.
