Tim Fawley

Tim Fawley is the most prolific goal scorer in Frederick County high school history. The 1974 Middletown graduate set game and season goalscoring records that stand today, some 45 years later. Fawley netted a record eight goals in a 1973 Middletown victory over Linganore, and ended that season with a record 40 goals for the season as the Knights went 15-1 and won the very first Maryland Class C state title.

He scored at least one goal in every Middletown playoff game in 1972 and 1973. Fawley was a four-year varsity soccer player and two-time Frederick News-Post All-Area selection. Despite back surgery in 1974, Fawley returned to play college soccer at FCC. Coupled with his basketball and baseball accomplishments, he was inducted into the YMCA Alvin Quinn Hall of Fame in 2011.
